HSN's 'Oz The Great and Powerful' collection has arrived

First a line of nail polish, then designer dresses, now comes an entire collection of clothing, beauty products, accessories, and home decor items inspired by the wonderful world of Oz.

HSN’s new collection — which is making its debut on the shopping brand’s cable channel right now [ED NOTE: I just got sucked in, thanks to the special HSN Emerald City set, the velvety-smooth voice of French jewelry designer Jean Dousset, and mesmerizing shopping network-speak like, “You’re literally receiving so much stone-work,” from HSN host Callie Northagen.] — includes more than 400 products from HSN designer brand partners like Naeem Khan, Badgley Mischka and Adrienne Landau.

While a pair of glittery pink, faux-heel high tops from Maison Dumain by Be&D (pictured above) are as close as you’re going to get to Dorothy’s ruby slippers, products like Naeem Khan’s full feather cape and Urban Decay’s “Theodora” makeup palette provide hints to the elaborate costumes that moviegoers will see in Disney’s Oz the Great and Powerful (in theaters March 8), starring Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, and Michelle Williams.

Other Oz-inspired items — a faux-Victorian bed frame, Glinda crown cookie jar, and sequined skinny jeans — in the collection are a bit of a stretch, but some items are already close to being sold out.

Shop the entire collection at HSN and get the behind-the-scenes scoop on Oz the Great and Powerful –including how makeup artist and costume designers reimagined the look of classic Oz characters — in this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly, on newsstands now.
