How Alexander Skarsgård Sneaked Onto the ‘Late Show’

Alexander Skarsgård stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to promote his upcoming movie, The Legend of Tarzan. While Monday night was his first time being on the show, it wasn’t his first time at the show.

About five months ago, Alexander’s friends, who are in the band Tame Impala, were guests on the show and Alexander pretended to be a roadie so he could sneak onto the show as well. Colbert showed a picture of him and Skarsgård that was taken that night. The True Blood star pointed out what made the roadie disguise such a success: the denim jacket.

Since Alex was finally on The Late Show in an official capacity, Stephen wanted him to feel at home. So Colbert brought out some Kalles Creamed Smoked Roe (fish egg), which is kind of a big deal in Sweden. As Stephen was squeezing the fish egg out of the tube, Alex grabbed it and made sure the host got plenty on his cracker, which Stephen gladly ate. Although, Colbert wasn’t too thrilled after he ate it. He said it tasted like “all of low tide.”

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
