'Hot Felon' Jeremy Meeks Sued Over Two Rental Luxury Car Crashes Days Apart

Jeremy Meeks is being held responsible for the damage done to two luxury rental cars after they were allegedly both involved in accidents and then returned banged up. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Meeks is being sued by WeHo Auto Rental, who claim the convict turned fashion model rented a 2016 Porsche Cayenne and a 2019 Mercedez Benz.

The documents claim both cars were involved in accidents during the month of September. The first accident occurred on September 5 on La Cienega in Beverly Hills. The second accident occurred days later on September 10 during a collision on the 405 freeway. The documents only list the dates of the accidents and do not accuse Meeks of being behind the wheel during either incident. However, it appears he is being held responsible because the cars were rented under his name.

In an interesting twist to the lawsuit, Meeks is not the only defendant listed. The other man is named Terry Bailey, Jr and has a history with Meeks, as he was also taken into custody back in 2014 when Meeks was arrested in Stockton during Operation Ceasefire. At the time, an uptick in crime caused law enforcement to serve a bunch of search warrants in hopes of finding illegal weapons. Meeks was arrested and his mugshot was posted alongside Bailey's, however he generated so many Likes on Facebook that the "Hot Felon" was born and Meeks became a pseudo-celebrity.

Terry didn't quite generate the same reaction from fans, and never got his big break into showbiz.

Chloe Green?

Meeks has been in the news recently over his questionable relationship with baby mama, Chloe Green. Meeks has been in a relationship with the daughter of billionaire businessman Phillip Green, and in March 2018 she gave birth to the couple's first son, Jayden Meeks-Green.

Back in August, it was reported that Meeks and Green had called it quits and she was going to be selling off the couple's marital home in London. The breakup news came on the heels of photos being published that appeared to show Green making out with a mystery man on a luxury yacht during a Mediterranean vacation.

Despite all signs pointing to a split, Meeks has maintained that all is well between himself and his rich baby mama. However, back in September, he was seen on an allege date with actress Erica Peeples, who appeared on Netflix's "True to the Game."

While heading into Catch restaurant in West Hollywood, Jeremy was spotted with Erica Peeples, best known for her roles on Netflix’s True to the Game and Law and Order. He later denied that he was in a new relationship and told TooFab that the two were hanging out while discussing a potential movie project and that she's just a "very good friend."

Balancing fact and fiction along with relationships is just one of the aspects of Meeks's current life, as he's also working on pursuing a career in music. During a recent interview, he spoke about his lyrical aspirations.
