Staff at a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent, England, held a two-minute silence and a clap on February 18, in memory of a porter who died from COVID-19.

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust said Mark Elliott “had worked as a porter at Royal Stoke University Hospital for more than five years and he will be sadly missed by all his colleagues at UHNM.”

Elliott died aged 64 at the Royal Stoke Hospital on Sunday, February 14, the BBC reported.
