Hootie & the Blowfish, the band that redefined college rock music since its multi-platinum1994 debut album Cracked Rear View, will reunite for a concert tour for the first time since 2019.

Hootie & the Blowfish guitarist Mark Bryan, bassist Dean Felber, frontman Darius Rucker and drummer Jim “Soni” Sonefeld will band together for the "Summer Camp with Trucks" 2024 tour.

The "Summer Camp With Trucks" 2024 tour will stop in cities throughout the U.S. and Canada, kicking off on May 30 in Dallas and concluding on Sept. 28 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The band will be joined by special guests Collective Soul and Edwin McCain.

Hootie & the Blowfish will perform three times in the Philadelphia region and beyond during its upcoming "Summer Camp with Trucks" tour, and tickets are available now on the Hootie & the Blowfish's tour page, and through Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

Hootie & the Blowfish will perform at the Hershey Park Stadium in Hershey on Friday, June 28 and at Burgettstown's Pavilion at Star Lake on Saturday, June 29.

Hootie & the Blowfish will then perform on Friday, Aug. 2 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ; Hootie & the Blowfish will also perform on Friday, Aug. 16 at the Freedom Mortgage Pavillion in Camden.

Hootie & the Blowfish speak on longevity, impact ahead of summer 2024 tour

Hootie & the Blowfish formed when all were students at the University of South Carolina in the '80s. They've since sold more than 25 million albums, including their debut album "Cracked Rear View," which remains among the 10 best-selling albums in U.S history, according to a press release.

"Basically overnight, our lives changed when 'Cracked Rear View' did what it did — and yet as we quickly moved from vans and college bars to tour buses and arenas, not much else changed with how we approached making music and sharing it with our fans," Bryan said in a statement. "Edwin McCain told someone at the time that touring with us felt like summer camp with trucks, and that’s exactly how we want next year to feel, too."
