Greetings from Asbury Park. Fans of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band come from around the world to visit the sites in Monmouth County where the Boss and his bandmates played, stayed and rehearsed.

Some of those places have become immortalized in the Boss’ songs.

As a tribute, and for fun, we created a map of notable spots in Springsteen and E Street Band history. They generally fall into three locations: Freehold, Asbury Park and the north Monmouth County shore.

The sites, for the most part, have withstood the test of time — and offer a glimpse into the Jersey Shore of 50 years ago, when Springsteen’s art was being shaped.

So take some time and immerse yourself in the local environment, from nightclubs to beaches to hot dog eateries.

This is the Jersey Shore world of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
