Hollywood Reporter’s Power Business Managers Breakfast to Feature CAA’s Ted Chervin, Honor Mark Landesman
The entertainment industry’s Power Business Managers will gather Oct. 25 for The Hollywood Reporter‘s 13th annual celebratory breakfast.
Mark Landesman of ML Management, who has advised some of the biggest names in entertainment for nearly 40 years, is being honored as THR‘s 2023 Business Manager Icon, an award created in 2018 to spotlight the achievements of someone who is outstanding and highly respected in the field.

CAA’s Ted Chervin will be featured in a keynote conversation about the increasingly intertwined businesses of entertainment and sports at the breakfast, which coincides with THR‘s annual Money feature (on newsstands Oct. 25) that highlights Hollywood’s top business managers.
City National Bank — which has been a go-to bank for Hollywood for 70 years, working with clients in business management, film, television, music and sports industries — is the presenting sponsor of the breakfast.
The 2022 event, which returned to an in-person format after years of virtual celebrations amid the pandemic, featured a discussion with CAA Chief Metaverse Officer Joanna Popper about everything from the evolution of the internet to the rise of Bored Ape NFTs and how to capitalize on opportunities created by emerging tech.
