Jul. 13—MEDORA, N.D. — Hollywood sweethearts Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher traded their red carpets for cowboy boots in a visit to the enchanting town of Medora on Tuesday.

Kutcher is an actor, producer and entrepreneur who initially gained prominence for his role as Michael Kelso in the popular television series "That '70s Show" before going on to star in several successful films, including "Dude, Where's My Car?" and "The Butterfly Effect."

Apart from his acting career, Kutcher is also known for his business ventures and investments in technology companies, co-founding A-Grade Investments. In addition he has been involved in various tech startups, including investments in companies like Airbnb and Uber.

His wife, Mila Kunis is an accomplished actress and producer who also first gained recognition for her breakout role as Jackie Burkhart in the television series "That '70s Show." Kunis has since starred in numerous successful films, such as "Black Swan," "Friends with Benefits" and "Bad Moms."

Kunis' performances have garnered critical acclaim and several award nominations, including a Golden Globe nomination for her role in "Black Swan." Kunis is known for her versatility as an actress and has successfully transitioned between comedic and dramatic roles.

The duo visited the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame and their attendance at the iconic Medora Musical injected an aura of celebrity enchantment into the otherwise vibrant summer tourism season, leaving both locals and visitors feeling like they'd attended a Hollywood premier.

According to a post shared by the the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame on Tuesday, July 11, the power couple arrived just before closing time, but were treated with the North Dakota nicety by being welcomed by gift shop manager Kristi Toof, who graciously guided them through the facility. A photograph of the couple was taken to commemorate their visit, capturing their excitement and appreciation for the spirit of the American West.

"Hats off to the NDCHF gift shop manager Kristi Toof for realizing the importance of staying late to accommodate Ashton and Mila! This is one surprise she'll never forget," said 'Wild' Bill Palanuk, media director for the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame.

The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame, located within the Center of Western Heritage & Cultures, offers visitors an immersive experience that encapsulates the character and legacy of the American West. From displays dedicated to Native American culture to ranching and rodeo exhibits, visitors gain a deeper understanding of the region's rich heritage. For the long-time staple of Medora, the visit surpassed all expectations, with the unexpected exposure helping bring the organization's mission and exhibits to a wider audience, reaching individuals far beyond North Dakota's borders.

"Having popular actors such as Ashton and Mila express interest in our facility is so very flattering. The ability to share their visit on social media has opened us up to a new global audience," Palanuk expressed. Continuing their journey, Kunis and Kutcher made their way to Frontier Village in Jamestown, North Dakota, the following day. A friendly greeter warmly welcomed them to this popular tourist spot on Wednesday afternoon, further heightening the excitement among locals. Frontier Village stands as a historical tribute to North Dakota's pioneering past, featuring meticulously preserved buildings filled with antiques and artifacts from the time period.
