Lights, cameras and lots of action swarmed to Cape May recently as the shore town was transformed for filming of an upcoming movie.

"A Complete Unknown," a biopic about Bob Dylan starring Timothée Chalamet and Elle Fanning has taken over the town the week of May 12, and many residents and visitors posted photos and videos of the scene as filming commenced.

Vintage cars took over the streets for the film, and signage posted for the film changed this Jersey city into the scene of the 1965 Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island.

That year, Dylan debuted a shift into rock-and-roll territory, much to the disappointment of the folk-loving audience.

The city offered free shuttle services throughout Mother's Day Weekend to accommodate for parking difficulties during filming.

Filming was scheduled to wrap in Cape May on Friday, May 17.
