'A Holly Jolly Christmas' dinner theater to be presented at Community Arts Center

Nov. 13—JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — Ring in the holidays with this festive celebration of the season.

The Log Art Theatre will present "A Holly Jolly Christmas" at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 in the atelier on the second floor at Community Arts Center of Cambria County, 1217 Menoher Blvd., Westmont.

The show will be performed by members of Iron Bridge Dinner Theatre, which is central Pennsylvania's premiere professional dinner theater experience that utilizes combined casts of professional, semi-professional and local community theater actors.

"The Community Arts Center of Cambria County is thrilled to be able to spend Christmas with our friends Iron Bridge Dinner Theatre," said Angela R. Godin, executive director the arts center.

"They have brought such fantastic and dynamic works in the past, and this holiday show will put you in the spirit of excitement."

A catered meal, provided by Joey Del's 2001 Caterers, will feature a garden tossed salad with Italian dressing, roast top round beef with homemade gravy, parsley buttered potatoes, buttered peas and carrots, and double chocolate cake for dessert.

"A Holly Jolly Christmas" will take audiences on a journey through holiday traditions — past and present — where they can relive those magical memories of yesteryear.

Attendees will experience their favorite Christmas classics come to life, and end up spending time at the North Pole as Santa Claus hosts the first "The North Pole's Got Talent."

The sentimental yet comical production aims to put some holly jolly into the Christmas season.

"We are looking forward to a nonstop laughing evening and hope you join us for this sensational and nostalgic event," Godin said.

Proceeds will benefit programming at the Community Arts Center of Cambria County.

Tickets are $50 for members and $55 for nonmembers, and must be purchased in advance.

Deadline to purchase tickets is Nov. 28.

Sponsorship opportunities also are available.
