The anime TV show was co-developed by Studio Silver Link and Studio Blade, with the Japanese manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Kai Ikada serving as the source material. The plot follows Tsubasa Shiki, a high schooler from Tokyo, who moves to Kitami, Hokkaido, and meets Minami Fuyuki. Besides being Tsubasa’s classmate at the new school, Minami is a gal or gyaru. Their relationship gradually develops as the series progresses.
