Hoda Kotb's Daughters Hope and Haley Share 'Yuck or Yum' Opinions on “Today” Ahead of Thanksgiving

The two girls made a rare appearance on the morning show ahead of the holiday

Hoda Kotb's girls are in the holiday spirit.

On Wednesday, the Today show co-host, 59, was joining Jenna Bush Hager in a "Yuck or Yum" segment rating different holiday treats when she got some help from her two daughters —  Hope, 4, and Haley, 6.

"We're going to start with Haley. Haley is bringing out — it looks delicious. It looks like ice cream."

After handing over the bowls, Haley watched the two hosts taste the ice cream, delivering mixed reviews before Kotb let her try some.

At first, she shook her head no, but after further consideration, she rated the Thanksgiving-themed ice cream with a "yum."

"Next one coming out is the one, the only, Hope Catherine! Come on out, Hopey," Kotb said as the 4-year-old shyly made her way over.

The mom of two complimented her daughter, saying, "I like your butterfly sticker. It is awesome," and added, "You're so good at delivering things."

After the two tried the chocolate truffles that were supposed to taste like Thanksgiving side dishes, Kotb asked Hope to hold up "yuck," but was surprised as her daughter sweetly changed it to "yum."

"Love you Hopey," both hosts said as she scurried offstage.

In September, Kotb reflected on her "magical" trip to Mexico with her two daughters while chatting with Jenna Bush Hager on Today with Hoda & Jenna. "I had a great trip with my kids," Kotb told her co-host. "Took them with my sister, we just went to Mexico for fun."

"And let me tell you something, it was magical. It was one of those vacations you take and you say to yourself, 'If they can all be like this.' And this doesn't happen, we have our fair share of meltdowns."

"Everybody was happy, everybody was healthy, everybody was — it was one of those that you just said, 'Thank you.' We're all here, we all feel good," Kotb concluded.
