Hoda Kotb Rings in the New Year With Daughters Haley and Hope

Hoda Kotb kicked off 2024 with daughters Haley and Hope by her side.

The Today show anchor on Sunday shared to Instagram a series of pictures of her happy family, snapped during their intimate New Year's Eve celebration.

One of the photos was captured as Kotb, 59, cuddled daughters Haley, 6, and Hope, 4, while sitting on a coach. All three were dressed for the festivities, each wearing "Happy New Year 2024" headbands. Kotb looked chic a black silk top and long pleather skirt. The girls were both pretty in all-pink ensembles.

Other pictures were taken as the trio seemingly celebrated the moment the clock stroke midnight, while throwing around streamers. For those those shots, Kotb was dressed more casual, in a T-shirt and jeans.

"Thank you 2023 for the love and the lessons. #grateful," Kotb captioned the images.

Kotb and her daughters live in New York City, but rang in the New Year in a hotel on the other side of the country. On Monday morning, Kotb and her Today costar Al Roker both hosted the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, California.

On instagram Monday morning, Kotb shared a selfie of her and Roker from the parade, captioning it, "Lets gooooo.'

She also posted a selection of inspirational quotes and ideas for the new year. One, attributed to Brooke Hampton, read: "In Ireland, on New Year's Eve at midnight, it's a tradition to open your backdoor and let the old year out and open your front door to let the new one in. Out with the old, in with the new. I like that."

An Instagram Reel Kotb posted, too, was built around the idea of starting the year with an empty jar and adding a note to it with a good thing that happens every week of the year. That way, at the end of the year, you can "empty the jar and read about the amazing year you had."

Another Reel shared by Kotb offered a view of a sunrise with the quote, "If 2023 has been a year of survival, may 2024 be your year of revival. May you thrive in the process of getting to where you're meant to be."

Last month, Kotb shared glimpses of the family's other holiday traditions, showing photos taken as they decorated their Christmas tree, placing ornaments, beaded necklaces and a giant red bow on the holiday tree together.

In the photos, Haley stood on a booster to add a finishing touch to the tree, while the TV personality carried Hope so she could add another ornament to the top.

"'Tis the season 🌲❤️," Kotb captioned her pst.

This year, Kotb and her Today co-host Jenna Bush Hager got into the holiday spirit in another way: by recording their own holiday single with Cheryl Porter called "A Carefree Christmas."

"It's gonna be a carefree Christmas / stop and smell the pine," they sing on the track. "Boughs of holly make us jolly / we're all feeling fine."

To support the release, they also filmed a music video, and pled with viewers to help the song chart. It did, landing on No. 7 on the iTunes chart.
