Hoda Kotb Reveals What Her Daughters Haley and Hope Gave Her for Mother's Day: 'Lucky Me'

Kotb also shared a glimpse into her mother-daughter weekend spent with her girls at the pool

Hoda Kotb is spending Mother's Day weekend with her two favorite people!

Kotb, 59, shared a loving post on Saturday, May 11 showing the special gifts that her daughters daughters Haley, 7, and Hope, 4, had given her and sharing just how "lucky" she was to have them.

She kicked off the post showing a pair of frames — each with an adorable photo of Kotb hugging her daughters — that the girls decorated with colored markers and sweet messages to their mom, including, "You are a great mom" and "Happy Mother's Day mama."

Another message read, "I love you so much!" The two frames were placed on a table alongside various gold and silver Mother's Day stickers.

In follow up photos, she also shared a glimpse into their mother-daughter weekend at the pool. The two girls could be seen swimming with their floaties on in one snap and in another, the mother-daughter trio took a break to eat some snacks.

The proud mom beamed brightly at the camera as the two girls also smiled behind a plate full of fries, chicken tenders and broccoli.

"Lucky me! Happy mother’s day ❤️❤️," Kotb captioned the post.

The Today show host adopted her two children after a 2007 battle with breast cancer left her unable to conceive a child biologically.

And just last month, Kotb shared the chaos she had endured to attend Haley's spring concert, revealing on Today with Hoda & Jenna  that her daughter had reminded her of the performance the night before.

"And so it starts at 8:45 and anyone who’s tried to get around midtown, or around the Upper West Side, knows — and it’s raining! So I decided I was going to make," Kotb told co-host Jenna Bush Hager.

"And I said, ‘Mamma’s gonna come in hot. You look at that door, I’m going to be there, okay? 8:45 I’m going to be there.’ ‘Okay, mamma, okay okay.’ So I come racing in — like, [my driver’s] driving like a manic through the streets… in and out of traffic. We roll up to the school, peace out, run inside. Make eye contact with my daughter," Kotb continued, mimicking her daughter waving back.

She added that she. "Had my other one in my arms. I’m watching 15 minutes of bang bang — you know how kids do it. It was so beautiful that I was melting that I was there and that she saw me and I was sitting holding my other daughter. Then at 9, straight up. 8:45-9, it’s over. We had a pre-tape at 9:25. So we flew back, and we rolled in hot. There was our guest, we were interviewing Orlando Bloom. It was great."
