Hobbits reunite in Cleveland for Fan Expo in April for pop culture fest

The Hobbits will travel to the Huntington Bank Convention Center as part of Fan Expo Cleveland April 12-14.

Elijah Wood (Frodo), Sean Astin (Sam), Billy Boyd (Pippin) and Dominic Monaghan (Merry), the lead characters in “The Lord of the Rings Trilogy,” will appear April 13, as part of the weekend-long pop culture fanfest. They will be available for photo ops and autograph sessions.

The initial “Rings” trilogy grossed more than $2.9 billion at the box office and its success led to “The Hobbit” films.

Fan Expo also announced that Danny Trejo of “Con Air,” “Machete” and “From Dusk Til Dawn” fame will also appear.

Marvel fans will have their thirst quenched as well. Charlie Cox, who stars as Matt Murdock, the titular character in “Daredevil” will also appear.

Single day tickets, three-day passes and ultimate fan packages are available now with advance pricing available until March 28.
