Hit-and-run crash kills Milwaukee teen, closes part of West Mason Street in Green Bay for nearly 12 hours

GREEN BAY - A 17-year-old boy from Milwaukee died Sunday night after a three-car hit-and-run crash that closed West Mason Street for nearly 12 hours.

Green Bay police are looking for the occupant or occupants of one of the vehicles, who they say fled the scene of the crash at 7:40 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of West Mason Street.

Police believe at least one of the vehicles was moving at an excessive speed before the pileup. They're asking anyone who saw the crash, or knows of the events leading up to it, to call police at 920-448-3200, Crime stoppers at 920-432-7867. Tips also can be submitted anonymously online at www.432stop.com, or via the "P3 Tips" app.

Police aren't yet releasing the name of the crash victim, pending notification of his family members.
