Hit-Boy has built an enduring legacy due to his production efforts on some of the biggest Hip-Hop records over the last decade. Now, fans will have an opportunity to profit from one of them, as the 36-year-old producer is auctioning part of the publishing rights to a track he contributed to on Travis Scott’s latest album Utopia.

The Houston artist released his fourth studio album, Utopia, at the end of July and, per usual, it had a star-studded feature list that wasn’t initially promoted aside from “K-Pop” featuring Bad Bunny and The Weeknd. One major surprise feature was Beyoncé, who showed off her illustrious vocals on “Delresto (Echoes).” The Fontana, Calif. producer had a hand in the production of that song.

Hit-Boy recently put up an eBay listing where fans can submit bids to acquire five percent of his stake in the song’s publishing. Beyond the publishing shares, the auction winner will also receive the AKAI MPK61 electronic keyboard that Hit used to produce the record. Currently, the highest bid amount is $20,408 among a total of 135 bids submitted. The auction will run up to next Saturday (Oct. 7) and 10% of the sale will be donated to the nonprofit MusiCares foundation. Listen to “Delresto (Echoes)” below.

Outside of working with Travis Scott, Hit-Boy has maintained a constant presence in music over the last few years. His most acclaimed work has come with Nas, as the duo released the three-part King’s Disease series and three-part Magic series since first linking up in 2020.

Together, they won Rap Album of the Year at the 2021 Grammys for their first iteration of the King’s Disease series. They received a nomination for King’s Disease II the following year, as well.

Hit-Boy has also been working alongside his father Big Hit, who was recently released from prison. In June, they joined forces for Surf Or Drown Vol. 2, which had features from Big Sean, Dom Kennedy, and Garren. Listen to Surf Or Drown Vol. 2 below.
