'The Hills' Star Whitney Port Reveals She Suffered a Miscarriage 2 Weeks Ago

Whitney Port is speaking out about suffering a miscarriage just two weeks ago.

Opening up about the unfortunate news, "The Hills" star breaks down on her podcast "With Whit," as she tells her story to her co-host, and husband, Tim Rosenman.

Posting the video, she captioned the heart-wrenching footage saying her feelings are all over -- with moments of "shock to sadness to relief" and "guilt."

"This is really hard for me to write. Two weeks ago, I had a miscarriage," Port wrote. "The amount of various emotions I felt in the past couple weeks have been extreme...from shock to sadness to relief, which then led to guilt for feeling that relief."

Port adds that this has forced her to look at herself as a mom -- she and Rosenman already have one child together -- and realize her feelings are valid, even if she feels ashamed of them.

"My identity has been shaken in regards to who as a mom and human being. I’m currently in the process of learning to accept that my feelings are valid no matter what they are," she wrote. "Whether or not people feel the same way as me or not. They are my personal emotions that are the result from my own journey."

Revealing she decided to discuss the miscarriage on her podcast because she wants an open forum, Port adds, "The video above is a glimpse into the story and coming to terms with how I feel. I welcome anyone to share their stories or feelings. I want my platform to be an open place where we can share difficult conversations."

The video shows Port in tears as she spills all her emotions out to Rosenman, who appears to be really supportive.

Port and Rosenman said "I do" in a Palm Springs, CA wedding in 2015.

They are already parents to a son -- Sonny Sanford Rosenman -- who's one years old.
