‘The Hills: New Beginnings’ Renewed for Season 2 at MTV

MTV has renewed “The Hills: New Beginnings” for a second season, the network announced Monday.

The revival of the iconic reality series debuted in June and is currently airing new episodes weekly. It picks up nearly ten years after the dramatic series finale of “The Hills,” and reunites much of the show’s original cast.

Returning cast members include the once-villainous Spencer and Heidi Pratt, the Kardashian-adjacent Brody Jenner and his wife Kaitlynn Carter, Audrina Patridge and her on-again-off-again flame Justin “Bobby” Brescia and “The City” star Whitney Port. Frankie Delgado and Jason Wahler also return, with new additions including their wives, Jennifer Delgado and Ashley Wahler, plus a couple of big name newcomers like “The O.C.” alum Mischa Barton and Brandon Lee, son of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

In Monday night’s episode, the group heads to Vegas for Brody’s DJ performance, but wildfires tear through Malibu and Kaitlynn fears for Brody’s life when he stays inside the evacuation zone to save their house. Meanwhile, Justin finds himself caught in the middle of a showdown between Audrina and Stephanie, according to MTV. Catch a sneak peak of the new episode below.
