Hillary Clinton's Major Mic Drop Moment
Before the first presidential debate Monday night, the narrative went like this: Hillary Clinton was preparing like crazy, while Trump was more like, “Eh, I’ll wing it.” Only the candidates know for sure what really happened behind the scenes, but the difference in preparation became a topic during the debate.
Trump had attacked Clinton for “staying home” during key points in the campaign, especially visiting cities that have high African-American populations. “I just left Detroit, I just left Philadelphia. You've seen me, I've been all over the place,” he said. “You decided to stay home and that's okay.’
But Clinton had the perfect response for that. “I think Donald just criticized me for preparing for this debate. And yes I did,” she said. “And you know what else I prepared for? I prepared to be president. And I think that’s a good thing.”
Twitter could not handle that zinger, which was her best of the night.

I feel guilty for being so nervous beforehand. Of COURSE she's slaying. No one is more prepared for this moment than her. #Debates2016 pic.twitter.com/q2DGXfkKgK
