Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta suggested to a staffer to “dump all those emails” when a shocking New York Times report last year indicated that she may have violated federal record requirements, according to the latest batch of hacked Democratic National Committee emails revealed by WikiLeaks.

The Times published a story titled, “Hillary Clinton Used Personal Email Account at State Dept., Possibly Breaking Rules,” on March 2, 2015 and that evening Podesta apparently sent a message to top Clinton aide Cheryl Mills that is sure to make waves.

“Not to sound like Lanny, but we are going to have to dump all those emails so better to do so sooner than later,” Podesta wrote to Mills in an email first reported by the New York Post.

Mills responded, “Think you just got your new nick name.”

“Lanny” most likely refers to Lanny Davis, a former special counsel to President Bill Clinton who has come out in recent days against FBI Director James Comey’s “improper, irresponsible and possibly illegal” letter to Congress about reopening the investigation of the former Secretary of State’s handling of a private email server new emails in light of new emails that may be connected to the case.

Podesta’s emails have been slowly leaking throughout October, revealing damaging information about the operations of top Democrats connected to the party and the Clinton campaign.

The Democratic presidential contender has been involved so many email-related scandals that it’s hard to keep track, but her use of a private computer server while U.S. secretary of state is probably the most troublesome to voters.

The latest Podesta email merges the private server scandal with the constant leak of stolen emails from WikiLeaks.
