Hillary Clinton fires back at Trump with 'Mean Girls' meme: 'Why are you so obsessed with me?'

You know what the 2016 presidential race was missing? Mean Girls memes.

In what may be her most “fetch” tweet of all time, Hillary Clinton used a meme from the 2004 Lindsay Lohan comedy to call out President Donald Trump for more or less trying to make a Clinton vs. Trump rematch happen in 2020.

Trump fired the first blow, mocking his former opponent on Twitter for confirming that she’s not planning to run for president again.

Clinton turned to the wise words of Plastics ringleader Regina George (Rachel McAdams) for a scathing response. As it turns out, she’s not a regular politician — she’s a cool politician.

The sassy comeback took Twitter by surprise — and her supporters are living for it.

Of course, Clinton still has her critics. Alt-right figure Jack Posobiec followed her lead and used his own Mean Girls reference to shut her down.

The Mean Girls clapback is the second significant ding Clinton has made against Trump in the last month. In February, she posted a Presidents’ Day tribute celebrating Jimmy Carter, Barack Obama, husband Bill Clinton and even fellow former first lady Michelle Obama — but not the man currently in the Oval Office, or George W. Bush.
