Hilary Duff's Husband Matthew Koma Undergoes Vasectomy as She Prepares to Welcome Baby No. 4

Koma shared several updates on his Instagram Story as he underwent the surgical procedure on Monday

Hilary Duff's husband Matthew Koma has revealed he's had a vasectomy.

On Monday, Koma, 36, shared several snaps and clips of his surgery journey on his Instagram Story, starting with a selfie in a car with the caption, "It's vasectomy day!!!!!!" adding another of his "vasectomy fit check" as he snapped a mirror selfie of his outfit.

The musician then shared more mirror selfies while waiting for the procedure in the hospital, revealing he'd taken a Valium and was "feeling hyped."

Koma, who is expecting his third baby with wife Duff (her fourth), went on to pose for another selfie in his hospital cap and gown following the op, writing, "It's honestly not bad at all. Like better than going to the set dentist for sure."

"10/10 would recommend," Koma added alongside another shot of himself just wearing black underwear and what appeared to be bandaging underneath as he gave the camera thumbs up.

The record producer also told fans he was "very high" and had "never taken a drug in my life," adding, "This is cool" while sharing another selfie.

Among Koma's many photos, he included one of Duff, also 36, in the driver's seat of the car. "Hot nurse," he wrote alongside the picture.

Koma's vasectomy comes after Duff announced that the couple were expecting their third baby together in December 2023. The Lizzie McGuire alum revealed the exciting news while sharing their family Christmas card on Instagram, which featured a photo of herself cradling her stomach.

"So much for silent nights. Love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew," the front of the card read, while the back added, "Buckle up Buttercups, we're adding one more to this crazy bunch!"

Duff and Koma share daughters Banks Violet, 5, and Mae James, 2, together, while Duff is also mom to son Luca Cruz, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

Duff and Koma tied the knot in December 2019. The couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary last year with another typically cheeky post from Koma.

"4 years married today and I’m just now finding out my wife thinks a bunch of U2 songs are Creed. I love you so much @hilaryduff," he wrote alongside a photo of the pair during their wedding at their Los Angeles home.
