Hilary Duff has come a long way since her days as a tween Disney star on Lizzie McGuire, and she recently got married!
Hilary wed Matthew Koma on December 21st in an intimate backyard wedding at their house, and recently shared stunning shots from the day to her Instagram.
She shared a photo of the pair posing in front of a car with "Just Married" written on the window, while fans also got a glimpse of her chic wedding dress.

Hilary Recently Married Matthew In An Intimate, Backyard Wedding
The wedding was small and intimate with only close friends and family invited. Her sister put rumors of an elopement to rest when she told UsWeekly, "She will have a wedding because she’s the good daughter that does like everything the way she’s supposed to. I’m not really helping her plan. She’s planning her own little thing. We’re very different. She’s more like the traditional, like, do all the steps one."
Hilary wore a glamorous, custom-made Jenny Packham dress, and paired it with an elated smile, obviously happy to be getting married.
They Met In 2015 While Working On An Album
Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma met in 2015 while they were collaborating on her album Breath In. Breath Out.
The two are rumored to have felt a spark right away, with a source telling UsWeekly, "They had great chemistry in the studio. Hilary thinks Matt is very talented and cute."
This was just one year after Hilary had split from her ex-husband Mike Comrie. After reports of his behavior and accusations of his cheating, it seems the former Disney star is better off without him.
They Split For A Few Months In 2017
Though the newly-married pair split in February 2017, they were already back together by the end of that year, and things seemed to be going better than ever.
The Lizzie McGuire star confirmed the news on The Talk, saying, “It’s going so great. I mean, this is the third time that we’ve dated."
She continued, "I think that you have history and a past with someone and love, and just because it doesn’t work out the first time, the second time, as long as there’s not too much damage done, then, it can always work out again."They
The Couple Welcomed Their First Child Together In 2018
In October 2018, Hilary gave birth to their daughter, Banks Violet Blair.
Along with a gorgeous photo of the new parents with their baby, Hilary wrote, “Banks Violet Blair. This little bit has fully stolen our hearts! She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic."
Seven months later, Hilary announced the couple were engaged, writing on her Instagram, “He asked me to be his wife."
