Homework Is Difficult

One of the most unexpectedly difficult things about being a parent is trying to remember what you learned in school in order to help your kids with their homework. You would think that things like math would be a pretty constant thing, but methods evolve and its easy for parents to be left behind.

Actress Hilary Duff is finding that to be the case with her 7-year-old son, Luca.

The Younger actress opened up on Instagram about the difficulties of being a homework helper, posting an adorable selfie with Luca hard at work.

"I stopped going to 'real' school in 3rd grade so I am actually doomed... I am left scratching my head all the time look at his homework and I'm terrified for next year!"

Although Duff blames her TV star adjacent education, a lot of her followers agreed that homework time is a trial. Duff has built her brand on Instagram about relatable motherhood with a touch of glam, and people really appreciate her honesty.
