In recent weeks, Hilary Duff has been opening up with fans about how she was preparing for the arrival of her third child.
Now, the actress, 33, has announced that she gave birth to a baby daughter, Mae James Blair, on Wednesday.
In a post on Instagram, the star – who is also mother to son Luca, nine, and two-year-old daughter Banks – shared with her 16.5 million fans a photo depicting her shortly after welcoming her little girl into the world.
The beautiful black and white image shows her holding her newborn in the moments after having a water birth.
Duff is also accompanied in the stunning shot by her two older children and husband Matthew Koma.
Captioning the moving snap, she wrote: "We LOVE you beauty."
The star finished by tagging her LA-based doula, Lauren Guildford, who also appeared to be the photographer for the sweet scene – which has garnered over 1.9 million 'likes'.
Fellow actress, Jenna Dewan, wrote: "Omg how amazing this is! Congratulations."
Meghan Trainor, the singer, commented: "Best pic ever! Super mama!!!!!!"
Former Glee star Lea Michele shared: "Congratulations beauty!"

Duff's eldest child is from a previous marriage to Mike Comrie, while her youngest two children are with Koma, who she married in 2019.
Recently, Duff has also opened up on Instagram about her post-pregnancy essentials.
“You know you’re about to have a baby when your bathroom is stocked like this!” the former Lizzie McGuire star captioned a photo filled with assorted items.
The product line has become a go-to for new celebrities mums, including Katy Perry who gave birth to her daughter Daisy in August 2020.
