Hilarious choice by 5-year-old costs family over $24,000 on Kelly Ripa’s new game show

Kelly Ripa’s new game show, Generation Gap, premiered Thursday and viewers thought the bonus round twist was hilarious. After contestants Nolan and Marilyn won the regular competition, The youngest member of the family got to play “Toddler’s Choice” for the bonus puzzle.

5-year-old Andrew was asked, “You could choose to drive around in style in a brand-new 2022 Kia Niro LXS in dazzling Aurora Black or a new Razor Crazy Cart Shift?”

Let’s just say producers pushed the Razor scooter extra hard.

“Drive and drift forwards and backwards, sideways and diagonally at speeds up to 12 miles per hour in a brand new Razor Crazy Car Shift,” shouted the announcer excitedly.

Given that the Kia Niro LXS starts just below $25,000 and the Razor Crazy Car Shift can be had for less than $300, you’d think the decision would be simple for a 5-year-old. And you’d be right.

As soon as he was allowed to pick, he got up and walked directly to the scooter. He proclaimed, “That one.”

Viewers were shocked by Andrew’s decision, as one person tweeted, “I've been laughing about Toddlers Choice for 5 minutes. That was crazy.”
