Hilarie Burton wasn’t about to let Diane Kruger be mom-shamed on Twitter. After someone posted something accusing the new mom of drinking alcohol when she should be breastfeeding, Burton jumped into action.

The original tweet has since been listed as “protected.

What’s still there is the proof that Burton defended Kruger.

Burton’s husband, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, co-stars with Kruger’s partner, Norman Reedus, on AMC’s The Walking Dead. She’s also a mother herself, with an 8-year-old son, Gus, and baby girl George Virginia, who was born Feb. 16.

Kruger and Reedus welcomed their first little one together … some time before Nov. 2. They haven’t released any details about their child.

Morgan cheered on his wife for standing up for her fellow mom and actress, and so did fans.

“Hilarie… Can you be my friend? You’re sooooo awesome!!!!!! I would love to have a friend like you. I like Diane too! Some people are just plain jealous of her so they spew hate. It’s a sad world we live in.”

“I dont even know what was said the tweet must of been removed. Way to have a friends back. #NothingbutloveforDiane #hatsofftohilarie”

“Get ‘me girl!! However they are just jealous cause they can’t have Norman for themselves. If they only realized that being nasty like that is no way at all to get someon’s attention. (BTW I have no idea what this person said or what this is about.)but I know how nasty they can b”

“You, my dear Hilarie, are top-notch. More women should take from your example of supporting each other. Well done.”
