Holy Shida! Hikaru Shida has become the AEW Women’s World Champion for a third time.

Hikaru Shida shocked the world Tuesday night on AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday when she defeated Saraya to win the AEW Women’s Championship for a record-breaking third time.

This ends Saraya’s first reign as AEW Women’s World Champion at 44 days, which is the second shortest reign for the title overall. The quickest reign, ironically enough, was Shida herself, as her second title reign only lasted 25 days.

It’s unknown at this time whether or not Saraya will demand a rematch for her championship at a future date.

This was the second title change of the evening on AEW Dynamite as Orange Cassidy defeated Rey Fenix earlier in the evening to capture the AEW International Championship for the second time.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more live coverage of AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday throughout the evening.
