John Cusack is coming to Arizona for a screening of one of the Top 5 Movies Ever Set Primarily in a Record Store.

Chandler Center for the Arts will host "An Evening with John Cusack," which includes a screening of the beloved 2000 movie “High Fidelity” on Friday, Nov. 17.

Cusack earned a nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy at the 2001 Golden Globe Awards for his portrayal of Rob Gordon, a romantically challenged music nerd who can’t stop making Top 5 lists.

And to be fair, George Clooney would’ve made my list of Top 5 Actors There’s No Shame in Having Lost to That Year.

What John Cusack will be doing at 'High Fidelity' screening in Chandler

Cusack will take the stage at Chandler Center for the Arts to have a conversation with the audience and answer questions after a screening of director Stephen Frears’ comedy based on a British novel of the same name by the great Nick Hornby.

Cusack will share stories from across his career, including the Rob Reiner classic “The Sure Thing” and his boombox-rocking portrayal of Lloyd Dobler in the John Hughes hit “Say Anything” to “The Grifters” and “Being John Malkovich.”

He’ll also give a behind-the-scenes look into his role in “High Fidelity.”
