Exciting news, HGTV fans. The summer staple Battle on the Beach is returning, and the network promises plenty of surprises for the competition series.
For season four, Battle on the Beach reunites familiar faces: Taniya Nayak, Ty Pennington, and Alison Victoria will once again lead teams of up-and-coming renovators through a series of design challenges while Renovation Island stars Bryan and Sarah Baeumler serve as expert judges.
HGTV teased some updates for the series. This year, the teams will be tasked with the renovation of four-bedroom, two-bathroom houses in the coastal town of Oak Island, North Carolina. Their renovation budget with the biggest in the show's history, with each team being allotted $100,000.
They will be faced with surprises, including a relay race on a historic battleship and a last-minute room challenge. The winning team, who adds the most value to their property as determined by Bryan and Sarah, will take home $50,000.
HGTV shared the news with their followers on Instagram, and they were met with a flurry of messages. Many left excited comments, like "Love anything with Bryan and Sarah, can’t get enough of them!" and "Oh, I cannot wait. I’m so excited. Love them all.❤️👏👏👏👏"
Other viewers called into question the judging system on shows like Battle on the Beach and Rock the Block and wrote, "After this last season, I’m questioning the judging and appraising." Another said, "I hope they get outside judges this time. Realtors or designers. Maybe let the viewers vote."
We'll have to tune in to see how it all pans out. Season four of Battle on the Beach kicks off on June 3, and will be available to stream on Max.
