Episode Highlights: • Art Transforms Life - Luis Gonzalez: Growing up in tough Boston neighborhood was a challenge for Luis Gonzalez. But thanks to guidance from mentor, Ari Haube, Luis is expressing himself through art and making a splash as the winner of a LIFEWTR bottles design contest. • American Flag Art: When veteran Brian Stoerts was unable to purchase an American made wooden flag, he decided to make them himself. His Flags of Valor workshop in Virginia brings pride to his creative staff of veterans, and comfort to families of fallen heroes who receive them as gifts. • Wallingford Work Camp: Most summer camps don’t teach hammering and house painting. But for these 400 kids in this Connecticut based organization, providing home repairs for struggling neighborhoods was their best summer ever! • Bikers Against Child Abuse: They have Harleys and tattoos but this band of bikers is hell bent on saving abused children, volunteering their free time to make sure abused kids get a fair chance at happiness. To these kids, they are Heaven’s Angels! TV Personality and mother of 2, Marysol Castro is a veteran network newscaster who last year made Major League Baseball history when she stepped up to the mike at Citi Field as the first Latina PA Announcer for the NY Mets.
