Here's where you can see “The Challenge”'s CT in “Road House” fight scene

Unfortunately it's a real blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo.

The Challenge star CT Tamburello stopped throwing punches many years ago. Now, the reformed reality TV bad boy who made a name for himself by threatening to smash someone's head "and eat it" in a particularly bloody brawl is only pretending to fight in the background of Jake Gyllenhaal's Road House remake.

The new movie (out now on Prime Video) directed by Doug Liman features Gyllenhaal taking over the lead role originated by Patrick Swayze in the 1989 action classic about a bouncer helping to rehabilitate a rundown bar through very violent means. The remake moves the action to a dilapidated roadhouse in the Florida Keys, where local woman Frankie (Jessica Williams) recruits a former UFC fighter (Gyllenhaal) to bust up the gang of goons hired by real estate tycoon Ben Brandt (Billy Magnussen), who is trying to run her out of business.

Last month, Tamburello shared a photo on Instagram teasing his appearance in one of the fight scenes, but unfortunately his cameo is more of a truly blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment during a massive bar fight scene led by psychotic enforcer Knox (Conor McGregor). The particularly brutal fight begins about an hour and 12 minutes in to the movie, and it's hard to spot Tamburello in the ensuing chaos of flying fists, breaking glass, and falling boats (seriously) — even when you're searching for him with your eyes peeled.

It's not until the timestamp 1:19:40 that he's clearly shown onscreen, walking next to McGregor's Knox leaving the bar as Frankie passes them on her way inside. Check out an image of that moment below:

"Last night of the bar fight scene," Tamburello previously wrote in the caption of his Instagram photo taken on set. "This is the whole fight crew. Lots of bruises and blood shed here. Thanks to @thenotoriousmma for jumping in the picture with all of us. This is a proper bar fight sequence the stuff cinema and stunts are known for." He then teased his cameo by adding, "You might recognize someone on the far right."

Tamburello first rose to fame as one of the cast members on The Real World: Paris in 2003 before moving to MTV's long-running reality competition franchise The Challenge. He holds the record for being kicked off the show multiple times for getting in fistfights with other cast members. In one particularly violent fight in the season premiere of 2009's The Challenge: The Duel II, he chased his former Real World: Paris costar Adam King around the house, threatening to "smash his head and eat it" while security tried (and failed) to restrain him for hours. The two were sent home immediately, but were forced to work together as partners in a later season, 2011's appropriately named The Challenge: Rivals.

Years later, Tamburello shed his bad-boy persona after becoming a father and entering his self-proclaimed "dadbod era," appearing much calmer and refraining from getting into physical fights. He has since won The Challenge five times (as well as winning two spin-off seasons for charity, Champs vs. Stars and Champs vs. Stars 2) and most recently won The Traitors season 2. He also has a few acting credits to his name, including playing one of the leads in 2022's The Most Dangerous Game remake.
