Here's what's new in Triway Local Schools for the 2022-'23 school year

New faces: 

  • Madeline Rowland - Kindergarten Teacher (Long term substitute)

  • Jennifer Meenan - Elementary Gifted Teacher

  • Wendy Hutchison - Wooster Township Elementary, 2nd Shift Custodian

  • Angela Mullen - Middle School, Intervention Specialist

  • Ashley Hershberger - Middle School, Special Education Paraprofessional

  • Victoria Ogg - High School, Art Teacher

  • Rachelle Ogden - Licensed Social Worker

  • Cheryl Bodjanac- Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Stefanie Tuttle - Food Service Supervisor

  • Kendall (Steve) Alexander - Bus Driver

New equipment: Smartboards were installed in the junior high classrooms and several teacher computers were updated and replaced for the new school year.

New building/renovations: The endzone bleachers and goal posts were destroyed during a storm this summer and while other damages are being evaluated and addressed, new bleachers and goal posts have been ordered.

All sixth graders will attend Triway Middle School, formally called Triway Junior High School, instead of the elementary schools. This change has been made in anticipation of the grade configuration that will be in place at the new Pre-K through-12 building, which is currently under construction, making the middle and high school active construction sites.

    • New Student Orientation - Aug. 17 at 2 p.m.

    • Kindergarten Orientation - Aug. 17 at 6:30 p.m.

    • Open House - Aug. 18 from 5:30 to 6 p.m. for students last names A through M, 6 to 6:30 p.m. for students last names N through Z

  • Wooster Township Elementary

    • New Student Orientation - Aug. 17 at 10 a.m.

    • Kindergarten Orientation - Aug. 18 at 5:30 p.m.

    • Open House - Aug. 18 from 6:30 to 7 p.m. for students last names A through M, 7 to 7:30 p.m. for students last names N through Z

  • Triway Middle School

    • 6th and 7th grade Orientation - Aug. 17 at 6 p.m.

    • Schedule pick-up and building tours - starting Aug. 8 offered daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Triway High School

    • Freshman and new student orientation - Aug. 15 at 6 p.m.

    • Schedule pick-up and building tours - starting Aug. 16 offered daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
