Here's what's happening with the new Colorado-based healthy options cafe opening in Viera

Rush Bowls, a Colorado-based fast-casual restaurant with a menu of smoothies and blended fruit/veggie bowls, will open a location Saturday, Dec. 2, in Viera.

Located at 5380 Stadium Parkway, Rush Bowls also features grab-and-go protein bites and specialty products for dogs.

“We believe that healthy eating is vital for a long-lasting and fulfilling life,” Viera Rush Bowls franchise Sean Dennin said in a press release. "We saw a need for fresh, nourishing and healthy options on-the-go in our community, so we decided to partner with Rush Bowls to further promote well-being here in Viera.”

Dennin and his three sons run this new location.

Rush Bowls is in the Stadium Corners at Viera shopping center and includes indoor and outdoor seating.

Customizable bowls on the menu include the açaí Beach Bowl, the Peanut Butter and Jelly Bowl and the Yoga Bowl featuring matcha green tea.

The restaurant will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Pick-up and delivery options are available, including online ordering via the Rush Bowls mobile app. For more information, visit rushbowls.com.

Rush Bowls was founded in Boulder, Colorado, in 2004 and began franchising in 2016, according to the press release. There are now 50 restaurants in 22 states with more than 100 additional locations in various stages of development. The Viera location is Rush Bowls’ fourth in Florida.
