Here's which South Bend-area restaurants are open this Easter Sunday

With Easter a week away, many local and area restaurants are gearing up to offer meals for the holiday.

So in anticipation of the holiday, here is a list of what’s available.

Some things to keep in mind regarding this list: Reservations are almost always appreciated. Many restaurants also offer carryout options, with larger family options listed at the bottom of the list.

It never hurts to call ahead to confirm the information listed. And this is not a comprehensive list, so if there is a restaurant open or offering carryout options on Easter that you think should be added to the list, please let me know. This list will be continuously updated online.

Restaurants open on Easter Sunday

  • Applebee’s Grill and Bar: 1150 E. Ireland Road, South Bend, 574-291-8522, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; 6615 N. Main St., Granger, 574-273-0003, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Bantam Chicken and Seafood: 1902 South Bend Ave., South Bend, 574-387-3890, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Easter brunch with lamb and six sides. Adults $40, children ages 4 to 12, $20, and kids 3 and younger eat free.

  • Bin 23: 120 Perspective Drive, Suite 150, Granger, 574-318-8000. Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with bottomless mimosas and regular dinner menu served until 7 p.m. Reservations can be made online at bin23wine.com.

  • Bonefish Grill: 620 W. Edison Road, Mishawaka, 574-259-2663, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Café Navarre: 101 N. Michigan St., South Bend, 574-968-8101. Open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a brunch menu available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Capri Italian Restaurant: 50827 Princess Way, Granger, 574-271-1500, noon to 10 p.m.

  • Carnegie Library Special Events: 122 N. Hill St., Mishawaka, 574-318-4983. Easter brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adults $32, children 5 to 12 $18, and kids 4 and younger are free. Dinner at Jesus Latin Grill and Tequila Bar resumes afterwards.

  • Carrabba’s Italian Grill: 210 W. Day Road, Mishawaka, 574-247-9460, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen: 4914 N. Main St., Mishawaka, 574-273-0013, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Metro Diner: 423 E. University Drive, Granger, 574-655-4088, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Easter dinner with ham or turkey with cranberry sauce and four sides. $15.99.

  • Monterrey Mexican Bar and Grill: 507 E. McKinley Ave, Mishawaka, 574-204-2281. 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Nick’s Patio: 1710 N. Ironwood Drive, South Bend, 574-277-7400, open 24 hours.

  • Perkins Restaurant and Bakery: 423 S Dixie Way, South Bend, 574-272-0655, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Easter ham dinners and fresh-baked pies. Operators recommend reserving whole pies beforehand.

  • Rocky River Tap and Table: 1032 E. University Drive, Mishawaka, 574-272-5458, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Easter brunch menu available.

  • Ruth’s Chris Steak House: 902 E. University Drive, Granger, 574-968-9700, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with brunch menu available 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for dine-in only. Regular menu available for carryout.

  • The Skillet Restaurant: 2212 McKinley Ave., South Bend, 574-234-6069. Drive-thru from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Easter dinner at $18 per person, Polish dinner at $15 per person and family of four meal with broasted chicken dinner at $32. Pound of Polish sausage and quart size sides available for $9.

  • Tippecanoe Place Restaurant: 620 W. Washington St., South Bend, 574-234-9077, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Brunch buffet with carved meats, omelet station and other breakfast and lunch menu options available. $45 a plate. Manager Kevin Jakel said reservations are full.

  • Uptown Kitchen: 7225 Heritage Square Drive, #208, Granger, 574-968-3030. 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Villa Macri Ristorante: 255 Toscana Blvd., Granger, 574-277-7273, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Easter brunch buffet. Adults $31.95; children 12 and younger $13.95.

  • Bonefish: 620 W. Edison Road, Mishawaka, 574-259-2663. Family meal options such as bang bang shrimp tacos, Lily’s chicken, grilled salmon and mahi and shrimp. Meals served with salad, cookies and bread. Prices range from $44.90 to $54.90.

  • Carrabba’s Italian Kitchen: 210 W. Day Road, Mishawaka, 574-247-9460. Family meal options such as lasagna, chicken piccata and rigatoni campagnolo. Served with salad and bread. Serves five for $34.99.

  • Cracker Barrel: 110 Northpointe Blvd., Elkhart, 574-264-6963. “Heat N’ Serve” carryout meals. Ham dinner serves four to six people for $99.99, up to 10 people for $149.99 and prime rib dinner that feeds four to six people for $124.99. Includes three-hour reheating instructions.   • Metro Diner: 423 E. University Drive, Granger, 574-655-4088. Easter dinner with ham or turkey with cranberry sauce and four sides. Serves one for $15.99, four for $59.99 or eight for $115.49.
