St. Patrick’s Day is usually synonymous with luck — and while it’s tough to predict just how lucky you’ll be on March 17, several astrological aspects happening at that time can help you find out.

“Astrological aspects are the conversations happening between the planets at a certain time and reveal the cosmic flow, feel, and vibration we are experiencing,” celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas tells PEOPLE exclusively, noting that the holiday itself “doesn’t have any actual astrological significance.”

However, St. Patrick’s Day always falls on the same date every year in March, so it’s worth associating the timing with planetary activity. “The first thing to note is to watch where the moon is,” he says.

“The moon ties to the energetic frequency and emotional flow we feel on a certain day," adds Thomas, who's known for his cosmic guidance for celebrities, business executives and prominent influencers.

Starting March 15, Thomas says the moon moves into Gemini and will stay there until March 17. “This will bring a social, exuberant energy to us throughout the weekend,” he notes, adding that we could become “very eager to connect with others and speak our minds.”

On St. Patrick’s Day, Thomas says “we will notice that our sensitivity, empathy, and intuition will be amplified” during to the sun’s conjunction with Neptune in the deep seas of the Pisces. “We will be deeply affected by the interactions and feelings of the people and atmosphere around us for good or for bad.”

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This prediction might surprise you, Aries! Despite your usual “social buttery personality,” Thomas says the weekend’s energy “may actually encourage you to lie low, relax and spend time in solitude.”

However, you could find luck in doing so! “You could notice that you unlock tremendous creativity, intuition, or psychic ability if you do so,” predicts Thomas. “This would be fabulous energy to do brainstorming or treat yourself to some TLC.”

If you can’t help yourself as you crave the social energy that fuels you, Thomas says “it may be best to do something low-key with people behind closed doors.”

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Get ready to do St. Patrick’s Day the right way, Taurus! “Expect a weekend with so much fun and social activity,” says Thomas. "You're ready to mix and mingle.”

Luck is surely on your side, especially regarding your social life. Thomas predicts “you could be one of the most popular people” at this time! He suggests you attend parties and celebrations to make the most of your magnetic energy.

“Networking, online dating and getting closer with your pals is also on the menu,” Thomas adds. “You’re likely to be around very creative, spiritual and sensitive people.”

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Enjoy the shenanigans this weekend, Gemini, but don’t lose sight of your career goals. Thomas says St. Patrick’s Day weekend “could actually be turning your complete attention to your professional life."

You may find that "highly successful individuals" orbit your circle or find yourself in conversation with "movers and shakers" during that time. Make the most of these interactions and conversations, but Thomas says to also "set aside a little extra attention to brainstorm career strategies."

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Test your luck, Cancer! Thomas says this St. Patrick's Day will have you "eager to step outside of your comfort zone and look at life from new perspectives."

On one hand, Thomas says you "could be contemplating or experiencing travel near this time or even dealing with people internationally." On the other, he says "you could be very focused on new experiences" like reading a new book or connecting with people very different from you.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This St. Patrick's Day, you've got that lucky charm Leo! Thomas says "could be assessing where you stand in a significant partnership in business or love."

If things are positive, Thomas predicts "you could be ready to snuggle up more closely or embrace your erotic side." In contrast, he says, "you could you could be feeling a bit needy and be facing deep emotional revelations about your intimate needs and sense of trust and vulnerability."

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Although St. Patrick's Day is the major this weekend, you might get Valentine's Day vibes, Virgo! "A major weekend for partnership is upon you," says Thomas.

"Relationship matters are a top priority now," he continues. "This is a great time to spend with your one and only, regardless if you’re socializing or just having a blast side by side. Consider opening up more deeply to one another."

St. Patrick's Day is a time to party and have fun — but this year, it falls on a Sunday. This may have Libras feeling "the need to assess your work-life balance this weekend," Thomas says.

"You could be firing on all cylinders and juggling a million routines and responsibilities," he continues. "Just be sure to spend some extra time enjoying the moment, too!"

In contrast, Thomas says you could also feel "quite confused as to how you’re going to get everything done." Therefore, you may decide to "reorganize your schedule and relax, instead!"

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Let the St. Patrick's Day shenanigans begin, Scorpio! "You could feel consumed by pleasure, laughter and in love with life," predicts Thomas. "This weekend spotlights your sense of joy."

In addition to joy, Thomas says romance "could be a top priority." If you're single, he says "be sure to put yourself out there."

Elsewhere in his prediction, Thomas says you "could have a great time enjoying hobbies, sports, creativity or your favorite past times." If you have children, he says "use this cosmic flow to get even closer" with them.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

Get ready to Shamrock and roll with your brood, Sagittarius! As one of the most "social and extroverted" zodiac signs, Thomas says you may be called to "focus a bit more on your home, family and domestic life" during St. Patrick's Day weekend.

"With the cosmic flow highlighting these areas of your life, you’re also going to feel a bit more sensitive and emotional," adds Thomas. "This is a great time to connect with your kindred or even consider having a party at your residence."

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

"You’re feeling dreamy, sensitive, sensual and imaginative," he adds. "The best part of this cosmic flow is that you’ll also have a special sparkle, radiance and mystique at this time as if you’re able to enchant and bewitch anyone and everyone that you meet!"
