Here's when Jeremy Jordan's first episode back on Supergirl will air

Winn is coming back to Supergirl very soon.

Jeremy Jordan‘s homecoming begins Sunday, Jan. 26 with the David Harewood-directed episode “Back From the Future — Part One,” The CW revealed Friday afternoon. The Broadway actor is slated to appear in three episodes this season.

An original cast member, Jordan left the show at the end of season 3. In that year’s finale, Jordan’s Winn traveled to the future with Mon-El and the Legion of Superheroes. The producers initially planned on bringing him back in season 4 after Jordan wrapped up his stint on Broadway in American Son; however, the showrunners decided to wait until season 5 because they didn’t “want to short shrift Jeremy or the character,” co-showrunner Robert Rovner told EW in 2019.

Based on the official logline, it seems as though a ghost from the past has lured Winn back to the present: “As Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) tries to thwart a Toyman copycat, Winn Schott (guest star Jeremy Jordan) returns from the future.” The episode was written by Dana Horgan and Katie Rose Rogers.

The fifth season of Supergirl resumes Sunday, Jan. 19 at 9 p.m. on the CW.
