We’re totally seeing double. First look images for Paul Rudd’s Netflix comedy Living With Yourself have just released and we’re so excited for this funny man to return to the small screen. Rudd is coming of the immense success of Avengers: Endgame and his role as the eponymous character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Ant-Man films.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming giant debuted the first images for the new, eight-episode series and yes, you are seeing two Paul Rudds. Originally developed for IFC before being taken over by Netflix, Rudd plays Miles, a man on the brink trying to pull his life together. When he goes on a self-improvement kick and dabbles in a spa treatment to become a better version of himself, he comes to find that he has, in fact, been replaced by a new and improved model.

The series will follow Miles as he comes to terms with his identity and fights for his career and wife (Aisling Bea). The first images, provided by Netflix, show the two versions of Miles going through the motions of day-to-day life. Instead of one, there’s now two of them. We can’t help but think with these dual roles that Rudd will have a field day when it comes to his comedic prowess.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart alum Timothy Greenberg is the creator of the series and will also serve as its showrunner. 2017’s Billie Jean King biopic Battle of the Sexes’ directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris will serve as the show’s directors while Rudd will serve with Greenberg, Dayton and Faris as executive producer to the show as well.

It’s a return to the small screen for Rudd, who has made appearances on a number of popular comedies throughout the years. Friends, Parks and Recreation and Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer have each given Rudd more than enough opportunity to take the lead in a TV comedy — and we couldn’t be more excited.

Living With Yourself hits Netflix October 18, so mark your calendars!
