In Game of Thrones, Jaime Lannister never got the chance to go beyond the wall and experience devilishly frigid conditions. Well, Netflix's Against the Ice sees Nikolaj Coster-Waldau doing exactly that.
Based on a real expedition, it's a survival-adventure film set in the brutal sub-zero environment of Greenland.
It follows the travels and travails of two Danish explorers, Captain Ejnar Mikkelsen and his mechanic, Iver Iversen, as they wander the white wilderness in 1909 looking for a map that proves that whole of Greenland belongs to Denmark and not to the US.
1.Seems people were excitedly waiting for the movie.

So I am watching the Netflix movie, "Against the Ice" and I am realizing even more that I do not have the level of cope necessary to deal with the eventual death of any of my dogs.

Watching ‘Against The Ice’ on Netflix. Feeling a lot warmer than these guys must have been. Jeez. #AgainstTheIce
19.One of the apparent foibles seen in the movie.
One of the only things wrong with #AgainstTheIce is the title (which I feel is unnecessarily "us vs. the terrain"). Other small technical niggles are forgivable. As is rare with Arctic-set movies, they've actually done their homework.Well done @nikolajcw and @netflix.
