Even if you're not a "Swiftie," you've most likely heard at least one song by the seemingly omnipresent Taylor Swift. Later this year, you'll have the chance to experience some of the singer's biggest hits as you've never heard them before.

In November, a tribute to Swift will offer songs known "All Too Well" to diehard fans in arrangements they never imagined in their "Wildest Dreams" — one might call these selections tailor-made — performed by Columbus musicians in the Capitol Atrium at the Ohio Statehouse.

The tribute will be the culmination of three Candlelight Concerts presented by Fever, a global live entertainment platform that uses data analytics to inform people of events like concerts, festivals, immersive experiences, tourist attractions and other activities in more than 100 cities around the world.

Because an artist's body of work is always growing, Fever's in-house creation team regularly listens to new music, works with musicians, and workshops song arrangements to keep concert programming current, according to Dana Moutis, Fever's manager of scalable concepts.

"With Taylor Swift, her music sounds amazing on strings, and the program has changed because of her latest album," Moutis said, citing "Anti-Hero" and "Lavender Haze" from Swift's 2022 "Midnights" album as recent additions to the tribute concert.

"(The concerts) also evolve based on feedback we get from the audiences and musicians," she said.

Fever works with musicians based in each city where they put on Candlelight Concerts, Moutis said. For the Columbus events, they have teamed up with a string quartet from the area.

"We've also worked with musicians in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Dayton, so Ohio's been great," she said. "We work with a lot of performers across the U.S., so it's really about connecting with them and getting connected through them to other musicians, and cultivating a community."

Each concert at the Statehouse will be set among thousands of shimmering candles, beginning Oct. 6 with "Vivaldi’s 'Four Seasons' & More," featuring Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi's best-known work, a group of violin concertos that express each season of the year.

"It's fun going through the four seasons ... hearing the story in music form is really fun. I think people really enjoy it," Moutis said. "You don't need to know Vivaldi to enjoy his music."

A Fever Original, Candlelight Concerts were created in 2019 to "fill a niche as far as experiences that weren't very accessible to people," Moutis said. "Once the concept started in one city, we scaled it to over 100 (cities) to create a very specific experience."

Describing Fever as "an ecosystem that is a marketplace for events," Moutis said data mining provides a view of entertainment trends the company uses to determine its programming.

"We use that data to determine what people want to see, especially when it comes to Candlelight Concerts, and we create programs with that in mind," she said. "We're really excited to launch in Columbus, and we're looking to work with other venues there in the future."

Moutis said the concerts coming to Columbus rank high on Fever's list of most popular events in several other cities, where they've often played to sold-out crowds.

Between the Vivaldi opener and the Taylor Swift tribute on Nov. 9, thrills and chills are promised on Oct. 26, when "A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics" will include the ghoulish groove of Michael Jackson's "Thriller," as well as theme music from such movies as "The Exorcist," "Beetlejuice," "Halloween" and "Ghostbusters," and series like "Stranger Things" and "The Addams Family."

Each of the Candlelight Concerts will feature two performances at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., with each show lasting 65 minutes. Doors will open 45 minutes before starting time, and late entry will not be permitted. Concerts are open to those 8 years old or older; children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are offered in three levels: Zone A (premium visibility), $60 each; Zone B (good visibility), $46 each; and Zone C (decent visibility), $39 each. Seating in each zone is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are already selling well, Moutis said, so hopeful concertgoers should make their purchases as soon as possible at feverup.com/en/columbus-oh/candlelight.

All tickets must be bought through the Fever app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or on the website before arriving at the event.

Guests who need caretaker assistance during the concerts can apply for one free pass for their caretaker. Once the guest has bought their own ticket, they can submit a request at fever.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

In addition to the concerts, gift cards valid for any Candlelight event in the U.S. are being offered for $60 each. Each card can be redeemed as many times as you wish until the total value has been used.
