To Hell and Back? #SaveLucifer Fan Crusade Burns up Twitter After Fox Cancellation
Another show’s fan base is calling for resurrection after cancellation.
Fox announced Friday that drama “Lucifer” is cancelled after three seasons, a decision that showrunner Joe Henderson said “f—ing hurts.”
“Heartbreaking doesn’t begin to describe,” he added.
Henderson encouraged fans to tweet with the hashtag #SaveLucifer, which started trending on the social media platform on Friday afternoon.

“By the way, the #Lucifer finale is the best hour of television I’ve been lucky to write,” he continued. “It wraps up everything from the season. But what it teases for Season 4… well, maybe, just maybe, we can #SaveLucifer and show you.”
So… yeah. #Lucifer has been cancelled. And it fucking HURTS. I loved this show so damn much and everyone put their heart and soul into it. Heartbreaking doesn't begin to describe.

For people asking what to do… MAKE NOISE. I have no idea if we have a shot of coming back, but I know sure as anything that everyone wants to. We have so many more stories to tell. #Lucifer

We created a season finale with a huge cliffhanger so that there was no way Fox could cancel us. Instead, we're going to frustrate the hell out of you fans. I'm so sorry for that. #Lucifer
