Helena Christensen stuns no matter what year it is!

On Monday, the supermodel, 55, revealed that the gown she wore to the annual 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party after the 2024 Oscars happened to be a look she already wore — years before.

“So excited I was able to get back into one of my favorite dresses I’ve worn on the runway, 1996,” she began in an Instagram post.

She added, “Corset not entirely closed up but that’ll be my little secret 😉.”

Her black, sweetheart neckline gown is from John Galliano Spring/Summer 1996. On her right shoulder, extending past her bust is a black and white ruffle.

For her 2024 look, Christensen wore her hair parted to the side as her curls channeled an Old Hollywood glam vibe. She wore a bold red lip and coordinated with manicured red nails.

In her Instagram upload, the Denmark-born model shared a photo of herself in the dress when she wore it for the first time on the runway. For the original look, her hair was swept into an updo and she wore a nude lip.

“Thank you @sooparkmakeup and @owengould for spending time with me yesterday getting me ready 💃🏻❣️@jgalliano,” she concluded, showing gratitude to her team and the designer for helping her to feel and look her best at the event.

Fans were blown away by the fact that she could still pull off the gown decades later.

“Which photo is 96 ? 💜” one person wrote in the comments. Another added, “Once a supermodel always a supermodel 😍❤.”

Christensen’s modeling industry peers also joined in, sending her compliments in the comment section.

“Gorrrrgeous 💎,” Gigi Hadid wrote. “Glamour puss! Loved seeing you! 🔥,” Cindy Crawford added.

Christensen and Crawford, 58, have a long history together as models.

In May 2023, Christensen shared a photo on Instagram of Crawford's daughter, Kaia Gerber, 22, Christensen's son, Mingus Lucien Reedus, 24, and Christy Turlington's daughter Grace Burns, 20, sitting on a sofa as they smiled at the camera.

Their kids had been recreating a photo that their moms took in what appeared to be the same hangout. The group posed together in several photos throughout the carousel.

Lifelong friendships 💫 So beyond grateful for these women, love them and our kids so much ♥️,” Christensen captioned the upload.

And despite her love for those in the industry, later that year she admitted she was fine not returning to it.

When discussing Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Turlington and Linda Evangelista’s docuseries The Supermodels in September 2023, she told WWD that she respected their decision to do so, but had no interest in being involved.

“I think it’s amazing to see your friends do something together that is so vibrant, and [you’re] so happy for your friends,” she said of the show.

However, she also said she "would've run away screaming” if she had to join them.

“There is nothing I would’ve wanted to do less,” she admitted. “I’m way too mellow for that. I really don’t need to make a whole thing.”
