Helena Christensen Marks 55th Birthday with Polar Plunge in Pink One-Piece and Signature Bold Lip!

The supermodel hung out with her family, including son Mingus Lucien Reedus, on her special day

Talk about a birthday suit!

Helena Christensen turned 55 on Christmas day and the supermodel mom literally jumped into her new chapter of life by taking the plunge in some freezing cold waters — in a sizzling bathing suit!

Seemingly sticking to tradition (Christensen also took a dip in a strapless swimsuit on her 54th), the former Victoria's Secret Angel wore a pink zip-up one-piece with a geometric pattern for another quick birthday swim in the river.

In photos shared to Instagram on Tuesday, Christensen poses in the one-piece, which she left unzipped at the top to create a plunging neckline. She also rocks her signature, bold red lip.

Christensen also included a photo of her 24-year-old son, Mingus Lucien Reedus (who she shares with ex Norman Reedus), who is pictured embracing his mom in a sweet hug.

“Birthday chills w my family,” Christensen captioned the post.

The fashion industry icon received well-wishes from friends Julianna Moore, who commented, “Happy birthday my queen. I love you,” and Claudia Schiffer.

Earlier this week, the Copenhagen native shared how she celebrated Christmas with her loved ones with another set of Instagram photos.

She stayed true to the festive dress code with another vibrant red lip look that matched her holiday manicure. For a cozy element, she wore a knitted sweater.

“Merry Christmas to you all. I know how incredibly lucky I am to be surrounded by family on this day. Wishing only for peace in this world,” she wrote.

Christensen’s birthday comes on the heels of her glamorous girls’ night out with Christy Turlington,  Cindy Crawford and Victoria Beckham.

A picture shared to Instagram shows all four of the icons dressed in gowns suited to their styles. Christensen and Crawford both wore sultry black dresses while Turlington decided on a sophisticated but fun patterned black-and-white number. Beckham, meanwhile, wore a chic violet dress with a cinched waist.
