Heidi Montag Shares “Wizard of Oz”-Themed Halloween Photos: 'Better Late Than Never'

'The Hills' alum was joined by Spencer Pratt and their two kids as they went out for some family trick-or-treating

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were practically trick-or-treating on the Yellow Brick Road in their The Wizard of Oz costumes.

Earlier this week, and two weeks after Halloween, Montag revealed her family's costume inspiration with a carousel of adorable family photos on Instagram. For this year's festivities, the 37-year-old The Hills alum and her family dressed as iconic characters from the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.

In the new photos, Montag smiled alongside Pratt, their almost 12-month-old son Ryker, and their eldest son, six-year-old Gunner Stone. While Gunner opted for a Ghostbusters uniform, the rest of the family were decked out in Oz-inspired attire.

Little Ryker wore a fuzzy onesie with red makeup applied to his cheeks in order to transform him into the Cowardly Lion. Meanwhile, Montag wore a plaid dress and red Converse shoes to channel Dorothy, and Pratt went as the Scarecrow with some hay sticking out of his shoes.

"Halloween night! Better late than never…," Montag captioned the photos.

It appeared as if the family already started trick-or-treating by the time they did their mini photoshoot, as Gunner could be seen chewing on a lollipop and holding a large pumpkin pail. That didn't stop him from posing for the camera, though, as he and his family paused while on the sidewalk to show off their (mostly) matching costumes.

In two later images, Montag and the kids celebrated Halloween with a few loved ones and pals, including Montag's mother Darlene Egelhoff. Egelhoff, who was dressed as a cat, even snapped a selfie with her daughter and youngest grandchild.

It's been a busy year for the parents of two. In April, Gunner and Ryker celebrated their first Easter together as brothers. Montag commemorated the moment by sharing photos of the duo in baby blue Ralph Lauren outfits to mark the occasion. The family also posed for a pic with the Easter bunny, which Gunner looked particularly excited about.

"#happyeaster ! Love the Pratts 💕God bless," Montag wrote.

Additionally, in June, Pratt and Montag celebrated Gunner's preschool graduation with plenty of cute photos to commemorate the moment!

The pics showed the little one in a dress jacket and khakis, as his mom and dad brought him a sunflower bouquet and balloon while cheering him on throughout the ceremony.

"Time is flying by! Gunner has graduated from preschool," Montag wrote. "Oh my gosh, I have had so many tears of joy and reflection. 🥺💕."
