Heidi Klum’s Super Bold Coachella Makeup Stimulates ‘Jump Scare’ With Fans

As most of us watch all of the goings on at Coachella from our comfortably climate-controlled homes, Heidi Klum is living it up in the thick of it.
The America's Got Talent judge has been soaking up the sun in sheer, neon dresses and wild, animal-themed macrame dresses with vibrant facepaint to match, but her latest makeup look is what really got fans talking, with some likening it to a "jump scare" when she lifted her sunglasses to reveal the bold look in a brief clip uploaded to Instagram early in the morning on Monday, April 15.
In the video, which features just the sound of the wind, or perhaps a nearby generator, the model pushed her sunglasses up over her forehead and into her hair, putting the mix of shadows on full display. Her eyes were framed all around with a thick black liner, with a dark green shadow coming into play alongside a more neutral one close to her skin tone, while thick chunks of glitter sparkled in the sunlight. In an Instagram Story, the triangular shape of the thick wings could more easily be seen.
It appeared to coordinate with the scarf or wrap she wore over her black mesh dress, which she showed a glimpse of in another video as she walked through the parking lot, possibly on the way to see Grimes play, if her choice of music is any indication.
Fans weren't sold by the look, though, with one questioning "who did her dirty with this makeup."
"She said AWOOP JUMPSCARE," another wrote, referencing a viral TikTok sound.
Some were into the look, too, with one suggesting that she was "slaying 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥."
