Heidi Klum says her husband Tom Kaulitz "looks good in everything" — but she prefers him with no clothes on at all.

"He definitely looks the best naked," the supermodel, 50, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive new interview. "He does! He just does."

And while she shared that Kaulitz recently told her he's "a little bit pudgy" at the moment, the America's Got Talent judge doesn't mind the extra pounds on him.

"I actually love when he's a little bit pudgy, to be honest with you," confesses Klum, who appears on the cover of People StyleWatch. "I'm 50. I don't want him to be 33 and über-shredded also. I don't want someone who worries about their muscles and everything all day long."

"To me, it's manly when there is some [extra weight]!" she adds.

Klum says that, likewise, the Tokio Hotel guitarist has encouraged her to be more relaxed about her body, including the occasional indulgence and easing up on her strict fitness routine.

"When he met me, he said, 'You can always also eat a little bit more.' And I was like, 'What are you talking about?'" she recalls. "I guess looking back, I was much thinner than I am today. But not even knowing that, but maybe just be more relaxed."

For Klum, working out intensely was just part of the job description. "I think also when you're a model, you're just more … I guess I was exercising harder. I was running around outside, jogging and all of this stuff," she explains. "So I feel like over the years, and especially since I've met [Tom], I've just been more relaxed."

Kaulitz has helped Klum loosen up in other ways, too. She says her husband is good at calming her down and reassuring her when she feels stressed or anxious. "I would have anxiety attacks or I could work myself up over something and he'd be like, 'Everything is going to be fine. Relax,'" she says.

She continues, "He makes me more quiet within me. Not quiet as speaking, but when I'm nervous about something, he's like, 'There's nothing to worry about. We're going to figure this out or you're going to figure this out. Just take a minute. Think about it. Tomorrow you will know.'"

Tom Kaulitz and Heidi Klum attend the 29th amfAR Gala on May 25.

The pair, who were first romantically linked in March 2018, tied the knot in February 2019. Since then, the Making the Cut host has shared glimpses into their love story in interviews and by sharing photos of their adventures together — including a recent summer full of travels around Europe — on Instagram.

Three months before Kaulitz popped the question in December 2018, Klum gushed to PEOPLE about her then-boyfriend.

“He is the kindest, sweetest, most caring, loving person. I feel so lucky. I don’t know the last time I was this happy in my life,” she said at an AGT screening at the time. “He is absolutely wonderful. Maybe it is because he is German and we understand each other in a different way. But so far so good.”

That same year, Klum brushed off the couple's 16-year age difference. "My boyfriend is many years younger than me, and lots of people are questioning that and asking about it. That’s really the only time when age seems to be shoved in my face and I have to give an answer for it," she told InStyle.

“I don’t really think about it that much otherwise. You have to just live a happy life without worrying too much about what people think because worrying is only going to give you more wrinkles," she added.
