What The Heck Just Happened On General Hospital?

It’s been an interesting week in Port Charles, and things only got stranger on the April 10, 2024 episode of General Hospital as one pair did the unexpected while another exchanged threats.
Hot And Hateful
The strangest thing to happen was the unexpected hate sex between Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Nina (Cynthia Watros), undoubtedly leaving every viewer asking, “What the heck?” It all started when Nina went running to Drew for some reason to vent about her interaction with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell).
She was met with Drew’s typical attitude toward her, but as soon as his shirt somehow became unbuttoned, things took a gross turn. The two inevitably slept together, and the second it was over, went back to fighting over what they’d each done to each other.
Medication Mishap
Another questionable moment came when Ava (Maura West) couldn’t sleep, so she decided to rummage through Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) pill bottles to find something to help. She landed on what’s presumably his bipolar medication, reading the drowsiness warning on the bottle.
Ava took two of Sonny’s pills and still failed to fall asleep. This is because, unbeknownst to her or Sonny, his medication has been switched out for placebos by Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Pikeman. Only time will tell if Ava makes the connection before it’s too late.
From Friends To Enemies
When Sonny arrived at the warehouse to find Jason (Steve Burton) ready to get back to work in the business, he immediately told his former best friend he didn’t want him there. When Jason retorted that he planned to stay, Sonny simply said that if he didn’t leave, he’d remove him.
It was laughable to see Sonny threaten Jason of all people, especially when it’s unjustified. Sonny’s strong reactions to Jason have, however, been due to his lack of medication, which Jason questioned. After asking Sonny if he’s been taking his meds, Sonny assured him he has and that he simply can’t trust Jason.
