Heather shares her son with husband Tarek El Moussa, 42, and is stepmom to his two kids, Brayden, 8, and Taylor, 13, whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall.

This isn't the first big milestone for Tristan. Earlier this month, Heather shared an update on her breastfeeding journey, revealing that she was having mixed emotions after realizing that her son doesn't want to breastfeed anymore.

"8 1/2 months postpartum. As I write this, my heart is full but also my mama heart is a little sad because my big boy does not want to breast-feed anymore," she began her lengthy caption.

"It’s bittersweet for me because breast-feeding as a new mommy was something I grew to love — I love the bond, the skin to skin, the cuddles, and if I’m being honest, it would have been harder for me to make the decision to stop. About 2 1/2-3 weeks ago, Tristan started to get un-interested & would just pull away and blow bubbles but he would still end up enjoying our morning feeds . . . until today 😢."

"And I don’t want to force him so I’m trusting the process, like I have from the start. I will still offer it to him but he’s a busy boy these days & is just so distracted. I do want to say that I’m really proud of myself that I made it this long. I passed my goal of 4 months, then 6 months, and I’m proud of my Tristan bear," the proud mom continued.

In September, Heather celebrated her son for National Son's Day, sharing a few photos of Tristan.

"Happy #Nationalsonsday my sweet Tristan bear 🤍 I am so honored to be your mom - You have made me a better person. There’s nothing I love more than being a mama & bonus mama 💙" she captioned the post.

"These boys have made me more fulfilled than I could have ever imagined. Celebrating from NYC so kisses through the phone!! 😚 Peek the boogie 😂."
