Heather Rae El Moussa Says Son Tristan, 11 Months, 'Changed My Life': 'The Best Addition to Our Family'

Heather Rae El Moussa loves her little guy!

The Selling Sunset star, 36, shared a post on Instagram Saturday, in which she celebrated welcoming son Tristan Jay in 2023 with husband Tarek El Moussa.

Posting a photograph of Tristan, 11 months, playing in the sand on a beach in Newport Beach, California, Heather began the caption of her post, writing, "2023 brought me the boy who changed my life, brings me so much happiness, and is the best addition to our family 🥹."

"Going into 2024 with my heart being so full 🫶🏻," the reality star, who is also a stepmom to Tarek's two kids — son Brayden James, 8, and daughter Taylor Reese, 13. whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall — added.

In the comments section of her post, Tarek, 42, responded to the sweet pic of the couple's son, stating: "Omg the cutest❤️."

Heather and Tarek welcomed their son on Jan. 31, 2023. At the time, they introduced their little one to the world with a joint Instagram post, though they didn't reveal his name or face.

"Our baby boy is here," the Flipping El Moussas costars wrote alongside an image of the infant being cradled by mom and dad. "Mama & baby are happy, healthy, tired but doing well. Our hearts are so happy ❤️."

The pair announced that they were expecting their first baby together in July 2022. The reality stars told PEOPLE that they were in the middle of in vitro fertilization when they received a happy surprise.

"It was a huge shock," Heather said. "We just weren't expecting this. We had just gone through IVF. We had embryos on ice. We had a plan."

Back in November, Heather opened up to PEOPLE about her experience with motherhood so far.

"It's truly the best experience," she said. "I did not think that I would love being a mom as much as I do, and I truly love being a mommy. It's my favorite."

"It's my era of my life and my favorite chapter of my life, and I just cannot wait to watch him grow and see all these little new things that he's doing. It's the best," the proud mom added.

Earlier this month, Heather got a tattoo of Tristan's name behind her right ear. She shared a close-up shot of her new ink in an Instagram post, which featured a large heart and her infant son’s moniker written in cursive letters.

“Before & after Tristan 🤍👉🏻 …it’s the little things 🥹,” Heather captioned the post, which also featured a shot of her during her pregnancy that was taken by Tarek.
